Kristina ‘Coach K’ Plachecki
A native of Hamilton, Kristina has long believed that nothing is impossible. This philosophy has served her well in every endeavor that she has undertaken. Upon graduating from high school, Kristina decided to attend Queen’s University in Kingston, where she would earn her Bachelor of Science degree. It was here at Queen’s where Kristina developed her passion for exercise science and training. Following her passion, Kristina enrolled at McMaster University where she would earn a Masters in Exercise Physiology.
Kristina currently resides in Dundas, where she and her husband Matt enjoy leading an active lifestyle. Kristina has been involved in various sports all of her life and in the last 6 years, she has participated in various running, triathlon, and adventure races including a successful Ironman finish in Lake Placid. In addition to her role as personal coach at Momentum, Kristina is also an assistant coach of Blast, a Hamilton-based triathlon club.
Kristina’s approach to personal and group training is from a coaching perspective. She strives to mentor and motivate her clients on their journey to achieving their fitness goals. Along with her supportive and friendly nature, Kristina’s knowledge in exercise physiology contributes to the success of her clients. Her philosophy is that health and fitness is a lifestyle and that anyone can improve their overall health with a bit of discipline and hard work! Nothing is impossible.
